Award for Maritime Innovation

The University of Hamburg and F. Laeisz GmbH invite applications for innovative projects driving the sustainable transformation of the maritime economy.

With the F. Laeisz Award for Maritime Innovation, the University of Hamburg and F. Laeisz GmbH jointly recognize promising research-based and practice-oriented projects, initiatives, and start-ups as part of the Hamburg Sustainability Week (HSW).

We are looking for projects in early development or pilot phases that demonstrate measurable impact and contribute to advancing sustainability in the maritime sector — ideally creating additional social value. The award is open to projects from the DACH region.
