Our personnel - foundation for the
present and future

Our company employs more than 1,500 seafarers on more than 60 owned and managed vessels as well as more than 150 employees on shore at three different locations in Hamburg, Rostock and Bremerhaven. This highly qualified sea and land based personnel is mainly responsible for our business success.

Our long-term personnel planning and personnel development should ensure that in the short, mid- and long-term all manpower needed on shore and at sea is available in the necessary quality and quantity at the right time at the right place taking into account our business policy and objectives.

This objective is mainly fulfilled through continuous in-house training and development, which is directly supported by scholarships and the allocation of work experience placements on shore and aboard our vessels.
