This 4.545 TEU container vessel and her eight sisters are the largest Containervessels of the new, modern fleet of Reederei F. Laeisz. They were built 1997/1998 at Hyundai Heavy Industries Yard, Korea to highest specifications under the supervision of Germanischer Lloyd. MV "Punjab" currently trades as "MSC Uganda" for MSC, Geneva in a long term charter agreement.
